Some messages are difficult. Some truths are uncomfortable. When something is emotionally painful, I feel it too. I feel the weight of it, the emotion of it, and sometimes I need the humour just as much as you do.
I laugh a lot with my clients because humour can break the tension, make something heavy easier to hear, and give both of us a little breathing room when the moment needs it.
Humour has a place here.
You can expect plain language, practical conversation, very little spiritual theatre, the occasional
F-bomb, and no New Age fluff.
I’m very down to earth.
I’ve lived in big cities, small towns and on remote islands. I’ve worked in corporate, finance, law, telecommunications, fashion and beauty, as well as running businesses of my own. I’ve been through enough relationship twists, reinventions, mistakes and changes of direction to know that people are rarely simple and life can be messy.
Over the years, I’ve also worked in roles that put me in front of all kinds of people. Different ages, backgrounds, personalities, problems, expectations and ways of seeing the world.
So when I sit down with you, I’m bringing more than 15 years of readings into the room. I’m bringing a lifetime of observing people, listening to them, working with them, and living through enough myself to understand that there is usually more going on than what is sitting on the surface.
After everything I’ve seen, and everything I’ve lived through myself, I’m not interested in judging you. I’m invested in helping you.
I’ve lived a lot of life outside this work.
This has been part of me for as long as I can remember. I resisted making it my work for years, which is probably one reason I have very little interest in performing the role of “the psychic” (coloured headscarf, giant gold hoops, velvet skirts). Though, to be fair, I do rock a gold hoop rather well ... and yeah, the rumours are true, I do actually own a crystal ball.
I didn’t suddenly become psychic.
WHAT I BRING TO THE WORK
Marie was incredible. Right from the start and without telling her much she began saying things as if she knew me all my life. The whole experience was very eye opening. She didn’t sugar coat anything and was very straight forward with the things that I have been doing to self sabotage, which was not what I was expecting to hear but absolutely what I needed to. This reading completely shook my ground and I’m grateful that I came to her, lots of knots in my head became unraveled and some others seem easier to begin unraveling now after it.
