🎶 Reading the Rhythm
Your soul may already know what your mind is still debating.
The emphasis here is identity. I don’t really see this as a forecast about circumstances. I see it as a forecast about the person experiencing the circumstances.
The Two of Pentacles
You may feel that an old version of yourself is beginning to leave. The Two of Pentacles often contains adaptability, but also a certain reluctance to fully commit to one form. It keeps options open. It says:
• Maybe this.
• Maybe that.
• I’ll keep both going.
• I’ll decide later.
There is movement or change, but not necessarily embodiment.
That becomes interesting when contrasted with the Four of Pentacles. The Four says:
“No. This matters. This stays.”
So the movement from the Two to the Four feels like a movement from flexibility to definition.
The Five of Wands
I don’t really see enemies here. I see competing voices.
Old identities. Old habits. Old loyalties. Old fears.
The Five of Wands is not always conflict with others. Sometimes it is the internal parliament arguing over who gets to govern.
What strikes me is that this card sits between two Pentacles.
2 → 5 → 4
Almost as though the battle is occurring inside the process of materialising something.
Not:
“Can I do this?”
But:
“Who gets to decide who I am now?”
The Four of Pentacles
I think this card asks an important question.
Most people immediately jump to scarcity.
But perhaps the Four asks:
What deserves your energy?
Or perhaps:
Are you willing to value yourself enough to stop leaking energy into what no longer deserves it?
The Four is boundaries, standards, value, preservation, stability, and self-respect.
In that sense, it almost becomes the antidote to the Five.
The World
I found myself smiling at this card because the World says:
You’ve made it.
Which may sound strange because externally, perhaps not everything is finished.
But soul expression is not talking about external completion.
Perhaps it is saying:
You are no longer becoming who you are.
You are becoming accustomed to who you are.
That is different.
Perhaps the Major Arcana journey from the Fool to the World is complete internally, while the physical world is still catching up.
The High Priestess
This card may be even bigger than it first appears.
You may find yourself remembering parts of yourself that have been forgotten.
The High Priestess does not strive. She remembers.
She already knows.
She sits calmly behind the noise of the external world.
Which makes me wonder whether the High Priestess and the World are almost standing together outside the spread saying:
“The argument in the Five of Wands is smaller than you think.”
Because from their perspective, the destination has already been reached.
Something else I notice
There are no Cups, and no Swords.
There are:
• Two Pentacles.
• One Wand.
• Two Major Arcana.
So there is no emotional drama, and no intellectual drama.
This doesn’t feel like a forecast about feelings or thoughts.
It feels like a forecast about embodiment.
About taking something you have known internally for a long time and making it tangible.
Which brings me back to the previous journal entry, Potential Deserves Enthusiasm. Reality Deserves Commitment.
Because I wonder if this spread is simply continuing that conversation.
Not:
“Do you have potential?”
But:
“Will you honour it?”
And perhaps the High Priestess and the World answer:
You already know.
You already are.
The only remaining question is whether your everyday choices agree with what your soul already knows to be true.
Those two Major Arcana cards feel extraordinarily calm.
Almost amused by the commotion in the Five of Wands.
Like two old wise women watching children arguing over something that has already been decided.
🔢Numerology in Today’s Card Draw = 34/7
In numerology, 34 is generally understood through both the individual digits and its reduction:
- 3 + 4 = 7
So 34 is a 7 vibration, but it carries the qualities of both the 3 and the 4.
The Components
3
- Expression
- Creativity
- Communication
- Inspiration
- Optimism
4
- Structure
- Discipline
- Practicality
- Commitment
- Building solid foundations
Together, 34 suggests:
Creative expression supported by discipline and practical effort.
Or put another way:
Inspiration or potential becomes real through consistent action.
The Underlying 7
The reduced number, 7, is associated with:
- Inner wisdom
- Reflection
- Spiritual understanding
- Truth-seeking
- Observation
- Depth
- Solitude and contemplation
So 34/7 often describes someone or something that:
- Seeks meaning beneath appearances.
- Learns through experience and observation.
- Balances inspiration with practicality.
- Values depth over popularity.
- Is interested in truth rather than surface-level answers.
A beautiful phrase for 34/7 might be:
“Bringing wisdom into form.”
Or:
“Creative expression grounded in reality, guided by inner truth.”
Interestingly, that theme echoes:
Potential becoming reality.
Inner knowing becoming embodied.
The soul already knowing, while the personality catches up.
✨ Mid-Week Guidance
Learning to cooperate with what is already unfolding.
There can be a temptation to think that because something does not yet look dramatic, significant change is not occurring. But much of what becomes lasting in life rarely arrives with fanfare. It is built through repeated choices, small adjustments, and a willingness to keep showing up.
If you notice old fears, habits, or doubts surfacing and becoming noisy, remember that noise and authority are not the same thing. Not every thought deserves equal influence, and not every internal argument requires your attention or participation.
This week is less about trying to become someone new and more about learning to cooperate with what is already unfolding, or to be more succinct, the new you.
You simply need to continue making choices that support what you value and allow time for those choices to become a lived reality.
⚓ The Anchor
You are already the person you aspired to become.

Love this – Thank you
Totally feel the confidence in who I am transforming into and softly holding onto the energy for myself.
Thanks for sharing this, Nicola. 😊
I love what you said about softly holding that energy for yourself.
It means a great deal to me to know that what I write is not simply being read, but truly being met and deeply understood. There is something incredibly rewarding, and quite moving, about seeing these observations finding their way into people’s lived experience.
Thank you for reading and taking the time to share your experience. ❤️
